A K-12 school in Naperville, IL is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their team for the current school year (CSY) on a contract basis. This role is ideal for qualified professionals holding credentials such as the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and with experience in school-based speech therapy services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet each student's unique communication needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other school personnel to support student progress and facilitate effective communication strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies and regulatory standards.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal-setting and educational planning.
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Experience providing speech-language services in K-12 educational settings.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development, disorders, and appropriate interventions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with students, families, and school staff.
